Key Automation's SUB and PLAY transmitters fall into three different families, recognisable by the colour of the integrated LED: SUB/PLAY R (blue LED) is a 4-channel rolling code transmitter, which is the most common version included in kits and compatible with all automations. SUB/PLAY F (amber LED) is a 4-channel rolling code transmitter that allows you to add a new transmitter to an existing installation without accessing the receiver, if you have a transmitter already programmed in the target system. In other words, it allows you to authorise a new transmitter remotely, provided you have a transmitter already stored in the same installation. SUB/PLAY N (green LED) is a 4-channel fixed code transmitter, which can copy other fixed code transmitters from Key Automation or other manufacturers.

No, simultaneous use is not possible: it is possible to memorise fixed-code OR rolling-code remote controls. the first one memorised determines the type accepted by the receiver, until a possible memory reset. An exception is the HALO automation, which only accepts rolling code remote controls.
